As a green tea-producing country, Japan does not produce many oolongs, making this tea quite rare in Japan. Our Oolong tea is grown and produced in the tea-producing town of Wazuka, which produces some of the best tea in Japan.
Our Oolong tea is rolled Sencha style into the form of a needle, and it involves light steaming, rolling, and drying. As this tea is left unroasted, the fragrant aroma and the freshness of the tea is preserved and it has a rich taste, with a slight bitterness and a floral fruity flavor.
