This japanese matcha bowl is made using the Mino-yaki (美濃焼) technique, which originates from Tono City in Gifu Prefecture, dating back as far as 1500 years. The region is blessed with high-quality clay which helped them become the largest porcelain-producing region of Japan today.

This Chawan (Tea Bowl) is smaller when compared to the regular chawan, making it perfect to bring around and whisk tea anywhere conveniently, especially when paired with the Portable Chasen and Chashaku.
